What a Day! Highlights from the Impact Art Festival

Yesterday’s Impact Art Festival was an absolute blast! We were all holding our breath about the weather, but thankfully, the rain stayed away and gave us a beautiful day to celebrate the arts.

We had a great crowd—especially so many kids who jumped right into the art activities. It was heartwarming to see them painting, creating, and having a great time just being kids. That’s what it’s all about!

The stage lineup was packed with talent. La La Librarian kicked things off with songs and stories that had everyone smiling. Then we had a high-energy baton routine from the North Jefferson Academy of Dance that really got the crowd going. Our friends from The Flourish showed up and shared their amazing talents, followed by incredible performances from Eric Marable, Jr., Jacob Scott, and Hemp the Artist—each one brought something special. We wrapped things up with the amazing Julia Gale—trust me, she’s one to watch!

Huge thanks to Mayor Joe Pylant, Kathy Bolton, and the Morris City Council. They’ve been so supportive of our mission to bring more arts opportunities to North Jefferson County, and Saturday wouldn’t have happened without them.

On a personal note, I’m so grateful for the friends and family who came out to help and to the new friends I made—I can’t wait to do more together!

To everyone who came: thank you. You made the day so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

Art impacts everyone—and yesterday proved that in the best way possible.
