Impact Arts Council is a nonprofit community arts organization serving North Jefferson County, Alabama. We create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience the arts through education, community programming, events, and partnerships.

Our Story

Impact Arts Council was founded in 2024 with a simple belief: art impacts everyone.
We saw a need for more accessible arts opportunities in North Jefferson County—opportunities for children to learn and create, for people with disabilities to participate fully in the arts, for artists to connect with their community, and for people of all ages to experience the joy of creativity.
What began as a vision for greater access to the arts has grown into year-round educational programs, inclusive art and music experiences, community classes, festivals, artist opportunities, and partnerships with schools, municipalities, nonprofits, and local organizations.
And we're still building. Our long-term vision is a thriving, multipurpose arts center that gives North Jefferson County a place to create, learn, gather, and experience the arts together.
