An 8-week art experience created especially for homeschool students in grades K–8.
Join Impact Arts Council for weekly hands-on art classes where students can explore materials, techniques, and creative processes while building skills and confidence.
Classes begin Thursday, October 15, 2026 and meet for eight weeks in Kimberly. No classes the week of Thanksgiving.

Choose Your Class
Classes are grouped by grade level so students can create and learn alongside peers at a similar stage.
Grades K–2
Thursdays • 9:30–10:30 AM
Hands-on art experiences introduce young artists to a variety of materials and creative processes while encouraging exploration and imagination.
Grades 3–5
Thursdays • 10:45–11:45 AM
Students build creative skills through engaging projects that introduce new materials, techniques, and ways to express their ideas through art.
Grades 6–8
Thursdays • 12:00–1:00 PM
Older students explore art techniques and creative processes through projects that encourage skill development, experimentation, and individual expression.

We’re exploring future homeschool art opportunities for students in grades 9–12. If your family would be interested in a high school class, please email info@impactartscouncil.org and let us know. Your interest will help us plan future programming.
Tuition & Registration
Everything students need for creative exploration is included.
Tuition is $200 per student for the full 8-week session and includes all art supplies and materials.
Advance registration is required. Each class is limited to 16 students.
Registration will remain open throughout the 8-week pilot as space is available. Tuition will be prorated for students who join after the session has begun based on the number of classes remaining.
Paying with CHOOSE Act?
Impact Arts Council is an approved Alabama CHOOSE Act Education Service Provider. Families using CHOOSE Act funds will register with us first and select CHOOSE Act / ClassWallet as their payment method.
After registration, Impact Arts Council will provide the invoice needed to complete payment through ClassWallet.
Paying by Credit or Debit Card?
After registration, Impact Arts Council will email you an invoice that can be paid securely online.
Before You Register
Just a few things to know before signing up.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Parents and guardians may leave during class. Students must be picked up promptly at the scheduled class ending time. Repeated late pick-ups may result in a student being unable to continue participating in the program.
Attendance
Students are encouraged to attend all eight classes so they can get the most from the experience. Please let us know if your student will miss a class.
Cancellations & Refunds
Registration fees are nonrefundable. We understand that unexpected circumstances sometimes arise and will consider extenuating circumstances on an individual basis.
Missed or Canceled Classes
There is no class during Thanksgiving week. If Impact Arts Council must cancel a class, a make-up date will be scheduled when possible.
